My Review

I absolutely loved Cinder! Meyer took me on a wild ride of romance, suspense, and action. Cinder is one of the first retellings I've read, and I enjoyed it more then I thought I would! I loved how you could see many parallels between Cinder and Cinderella. I also liked Meyer's creative twists on this classic fairy tale. For example, setting the story in the future with a cyborg protagonist; who lives in a dark and mysterious world, and an incredible unique and freaky alien colony living on the moon. I loved this one, and look forward for picking up the rest of Meyer's series soon!

  1. Personally, I recommend reading Cinder as a standalone book, but if you absolutely have to know what happens in the end, prepare to be frustrated along the very, very long way.
