When Eadlyn became the first princess of Illea to hold her own Selection, she didn't think she would fall in love with any of her thirty-five suitors. She spent the fist few weeks of the competition counting down the days until she could send them all home. But as events at the palace force Eadlyn even further into the spotlight, she realizes that she might not be content remaining alone.
Eadlyn still isn't sure she'll find the fairy-tale ending her parents did twenty years ago. But sometimes the heart has a way of surprising you... and soon Eadlyn must make a choice that feels more impossible--and more important--than she ever imagined,.

My Review

Starting fangirl melt down in .......3 .........2 .........1 ........ Okay, let me just start off by saying...... hOLY mOTHER oF fEELS! tHIS bOOK......*tries to catch breath*......... wAS AMAZING!!!! With The Crown being the last book in The Selection series; one of my absolute favorite series of all time, it was really hard to see this journey come to an end. And man, Cass didn't disappoint either. After she left us hanging in The Heir with that ending of hers, Cass did an excellent job picking up right where she left off. I loved seeing all the previous characters like Henri, Hale, Ean, Ekkio, Fox, and Gunner, but there were also some new ones and some minor ones that made their way into the spotlight too. Cass's writing style was as perfect as always, and her pacing and speed was on point too. I am sad to see this series end, but Cass gave this journey the ending it deserves. And I was so happy with who Eadlyn chose in the end, trust me you will too! I highly recommend you check this series out, if you haven't yet, and that you love it just as much as I do!
